This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for November 14, 2007:
This is a very important question. I'll answer from my perspective.
I watch out of habit. Usually I want to hear what the weather is going to be. The weather channel is too broad a report usually.
I would like the news be about what is good. Educational, inspiring.
I'd like to see some reverance, some humor................and again, educational and not sensational. Shake it all up and make a new model. Let different stations do it differently. Those that want horror and play by play uglyness, chose that one........and so on...

Addendum
I woke up this morning thinking about this question. I often answer the daily questions in the evening when I get them on my site.
I remember “Current Events” reports we did in school as children.
This Zaadz site is just that. Might this be a good example of what a daily news report might look like? This is topic specific, but there can be different choices, topics you can log to and choose. Experts in specific areas of interest can report on those sites and we as consumers can choose to read their reports or discussions?
This can act as a DVR in a way. CHOOSE YOUR NEWS
Wouldn't that sift the wheat from the chaff?
